OTTAWA, ON (CANADA) – October 2, 2017. Ottawa-based LED lighting innovator Arkalumen, Inc. announced today that they will be launching an updated version of their APT-CC controller. Originally launched in March at LEDucation 2017, the patented technology in these controllers allows light fixture manufacturers to convert a single output driver into a multi-channel intelligently-controlled system perfect for dual white color tuning applications.
For this update, the engineers at Arkalumen have increased the modulation frequency to 31KHz, eliminating any perceivable flicker and ensuring compatibility with a larger selection of standard off-the-shelf drivers. They have also improved the 0-10V input port, enabling the controller to operate with any commercially available 0-10V control system, whether active or passive.
