Announcing general availability of Arkalumen intelligent controllers for high-lumen LED light fixtures.
Arkalumen announces new line of intelligent controllers for high-lumen LED light fixtures which are designed to make it easy for lighting manufacturers to develop market-leading LED products in record time
OTTAWA, ON (CANADA) July 2, 2010 – Arkalumen, a developer of advanced LED lighting solutions introduces the Arkalumen M Series of Intelligent LED Controllers for high-lumen fixtures. These high-performance dimming controllers deliver exceptional energy-efficiency while improving system reliability and fault tolerance thanks to a series of patent-pending innovations designed to address many of the challenges that have prevented lighting manufacturers from adopting LED technology to date.
The Arkalumen M Series was engineered for applications that require combining numerous LEDs to deliver equivalent high lumen performance to conventional sources such as fluorescent, incandescent, halogen, or metal halide. The micro-controller based system intelligently manages up to 8 independent channels of LEDs to deliver precisely the appropriate voltage and current to optimize energy-efficiency, lumen-performance, and system health. The built-in fault-management can intelligently adjust to an LED failure that results in an open circuit on a single channel in order to maintain performance on the remaining channels. The M Series also offers dual-channel 0-10V dimmer inputs as well as on-board input for an infrared remote that can be configured to control light intensity and color temperature. Further features of the M Series controller include master/slave functionality for enabling control over large numbers of light fixtures with a single dimmer or control system, and interoperability with off-the-shelf ambient light, occupancy and motion sensors.
The Arkalumen M Series is available now. For further information please contact sales@arkalumen.com
